This Privacy Policy describes how LimitCam ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application. LimitCam is a privacy-first app that operates entirely on your device. We do not collect, access, transmit, or store any of your photos or data on external servers. Everything stays on your device. We may request permission to track your activity across other apps and websites for advertising purposes.

Data Stored on Your Device

Photos (Saved to Your Device Only)

  • Photos you take within the app

Purpose: Photos are saved directly to your device's photo library. We never access, store, or transmit your photos to any external servers. Your photos remain completely private.

App Settings (Stored Locally Only)

  • Shot limit preferences
  • Session settings

Purpose: These preferences are stored only on your device to remember your settings between sessions. No settings data is ever sent to external servers.

Advertising Data (Optional)

  • Advertising identifier (IDFA)
  • Device information
  • App usage patterns

Purpose: We may request permission to track your activity across apps and websites for personalized advertising. This is optional and requires your explicit consent through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change your tracking preferences at any time in your device Settings. Your photos and creative content are never shared with advertisers.

Data We Do NOT Collect

LimitCam does not collect or have access to:

  • Personal identification information
  • Location data
  • Contact information
  • Photos or images (beyond saving to your device)

Data Sharing

  • We do not share your photos or creative content with any third parties.
  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • If you grant tracking permission, we may share anonymous advertising identifiers with advertising partners to show you relevant ads. This does not include your photos, settings, or any personally identifiable information.
  • You can opt out of tracking at any time through your device Settings under Privacy > Tracking.

Data Retention

All data is stored locally on your device. We do not retain any data on external servers. Uninstalling the app will remove all app-related data from your device.

Data Security

Since all data remains on your device and is never transmitted to us, your information is protected by your device's built-in security features.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Delete all app data by uninstalling the app
  • Revoke camera access through your device's Settings
  • Revoke photo library access through your device's Settings

Children's Privacy

LimitCam is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the app and updating the effective date.
